Only recently has produced some B & B on the island of Elba. This evolution of the traditional "houses" that even before the hotels were offering hospitality to the few tourists who attended the first of the 60 Elba. The category still exists today but has been supplanted almost entirely by the hotels, apartments and campsites.
The recent spread of the B & B on the island has a range in line with European standards, both for the quality of the rooms that often have a really excellent quality, and for the hospitality and breakfast. In fact there is a particular care in offering a breakfast that almost always includes homemade pastries and other typical local products. Another thing to note for B & B on the island of Elba is that these are very often built and operated by young people who engage with real passion for this kind of hospitality.
